A Catholic Conversation on the Moral Use of Force

Join us May 29 in the heart of Capitol Hill.

Catholics in Defense welcomes Dr. Chad Pecknold for a timely conversation on just war theory and its applications to military, law enforcement, espionage, and personal defense in the increasingly complex conflicts of the 21st century.

☩ The Catholic Information Center

The CIC is an event space and hub of the sacramental life for busy Washingtonians, with daily Mass, Eucharistic adoration, confessions, and spiritual development.

☩ Off the Record

This event will observe Chatham House Rules, and all statements will be unattributed.

☩ Invitation-Only

Please ensure that you RSVP and remind any guests to do so as well. Catholics in Defense may not be able to accommodate every guest, so please await confirmation before attending.

☩ Widely-Attended Gathering

Because numerous professionals and clergy from a broad spectrum of institutions will be present at this event, it qualifies as a widely attended gathering.
